As part of its mission to promote the role of volunteers in information and communication technologies for development (ICT4D), UNITeS profiles related activities by UN Volunteers who are serving or have served in the field. These profiles are presented by country (see below).

UNITeS is about ALL volunteers applying ICT4D, not only UN Volunteers. We also host an online discussion group for volunteers from any organization engaged in ICT4D. Please contact us for more information.

In addition, we also have a section that profiles the contributions of volunteers applying ICT4D as each relates to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Please see our section on volunteers, ICT4D and the MDGs for more info.

The UN Volunteers programme has further been approached about participating in other projects.
