ICT4D Seeking more stories of volunteers, ICT4D & MDGs - November 2004

December 5 is International Volunteer Day (IVD), and in conjunction with this impending event, the United Nations Information Technology Service (UNITeS) is seeking more examples of volunteers from ANY organization who are applying Information Communications Technologies to Development (ICT4D) in activities that can be linked to at least one Millennium Development Goal (MDG) and MDG target.

UNITeS needs more examples of volunteers from any organization applying ICT4D in situations that are somehow related to any of the following MDGs:

• Promote Gender Equality and Empower Women
• Reduce Child Mortality
• Improve Maternal Health
• Ensure Environmental Sustainability
