Recruiting for Cisco Academies
On a one-year assignment starting in November 2002, a National UN Volunteer (NUNV) helped promote the Cisco Networking Academy Program (CNAP). With the training he received from Cisco in Ethiopia he then taught at the University of Nouakchott. He recruited thirty unemployed students into the CNAP, twenty of these women. He also supported the creation of a Cisco Academy to support the Mauritanian Ecole Nationale d'Administration.
