From 23 June to 19 August 2001, under , an International UN Volunteer (IUNV) from Specialist Services
Overseas / APSO, Ireland, assisted the Geology and Mines Commission
in Guyana. He helped the Commission develop software that enables the
establishment of a "small claims mines database", thereby
facilitating the preparation of periodic reports and statistics as
well as various transactions.
