Barbados and the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States

Creating Community Resource and Internet Centers
As part of the Community Development Programme, UNDP is supporting Barbados and the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States in the establishment of community management teams, community assessments, development of community work plans and assessments of Community Development Divisions.

From July 2002 to 2003, an International UN Volunteer (IUNV) from China, funded by the Japanese Trust Fund, supported the establishment of community management teams and Community Resource and Internet Centers (CoRICs) in Barbados and in four communities in the Windward Islands of Dominica, Grenada, St. Vincent, the Grenadines and Barbados.
