Website and Intranet Launch
From September 2002 to March 2003, an International UN Volunteer (IUNV) from the Philippines served as Web Designer and Information Technology and Development Assistant in Kabul. She supported the UNDP Kabul office by designing, implementing and launching a public website and an Intranet for information sharing. She was in charge of interfacing all relevant databases on ongoing and pipeline projects and programmes to the Intranet. She also trained the staff of the Ministry of Women’s Affairs on web design and database management. She is currently serving in Ghana until 28 November 2004.

From December 2002 to March 2003, a second IUNV from Canada streamlined the management and operational activities of the Ministry. She trained her national counterparts on computerizing their work and served as Editor in Chief for the Ministry’s newsletter.
