From 30 November to 18 December 2001, a UN Volunteer from Italy assisted the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, training the staff on information technology and advising on the development of an accounting software. This volunteer is the retired General Director from the Italian based company Tecnint Hte srl. and member of Board of Directors of Fondazione Ivo de Carneri. He is also a volunteer consultant for Sodalitas, a non-profit organization.
